The preferences window has seven tabs. It is reachable from the JT-Bridge menu or with the ⌘, keyboard shortcut.
General tab
CQ list:
Enter the number of CQs to keep in the list in the main window. Defaults is 100.
Station:
If your radio and logging application support split frequency operation,
it can be enabled here. This enables to set "Rig split opration" in WSJT-X.
NOTE: This is very experimental, and might not work at all. "Fake" split in WSJT-X
should work for most people. In that case split operation should not be enabled in
JT-Bridge.
Logging Application:
It's possible to transfer logged QSOs in WSJT-X to your logging application
It's also possible to specify what type of QSLs to search for.
You can choose to specify a date from when to search the log for QSL information. QSOs before that will be disregarded.
Network
WSJT-X:
These settings has to match the WSJT-X settings. Multiple WSJT-X instances can send their decoded traffic to JT-Bridge. If they are on different hosts, use a multicast address such as 224.0.0.1
The number of connected WSJT-X instances that have connected, is shown in the lower left corner of the main window. It can take up to 15s until WSJT-X connects.
CAT:
JT-Bridge implements the DX Lab Suite Commander interface to communicate with WSJT-X.
If you want WSJT-X to get and set the frequency from your logging application, set a TCP port that JT-Bridge will listen on. Enter a number between 1024 and 65355.
When the TCP server has started, the main window will show how many WSJT-X instances that have connected. It might show an error message instead.
In the WSJT-X preferences, these settings has to be set in the
Radio tab:
Rig: DX Lab Suite Commander
Poll Interval: E.g. 5s
Network Server: 127.0.0.1:7374 (Or other IP and port if WSJT-X and JT-Bridge are one different hosts)
PTT Method: VOX or CAT.
Mode: Data/pkt (JT-Bridge will allways respond DATA back to WSJT-X, regardless of Rig setting)
Split Operation: "Fake it" is recommened
Digital Modes
This is a list of data modes used when checking worked or confirmed status in the logger. If the list is empty the mode from WSJT-X (JT65 or JT9) will be used.

Here you can choose to send CQ's to the OS X Notification Center. Click the cog wheel to go to the Notification Center settings. E.g. to set the format of the notification or turn off the sound.
CQ messages:
New CQs will be checked against these settings to send notifications.
CQ and other messages:
All messages will be checked against these settings if not disabled.
Specific calls or prefixes is a comma separated list to send notifications for.
Notifications for messages from specific continents and when you are called (requires that you set your call in the general tab) can be set.
External:
External addresses for notification. Either email or phone number for SMS/iMessage. SMS requires MacOS 10.10+ and SMS relay.
Sound:
Here you can set the sound to play when a notification is sent.
None
Default - The "Glass" system sound
Other - Choose a sound file
Lookup
Here call book lookup is enabled. Enter user name and password for the choosen call book. Login status is shown. For QRZ it will show the subscription status, when logged in.
Columns
Show Columns:
Choose which columns to display. It is possible to set the State column to only show information if the CQ is from the US.
Mark CQs
Here it's possible to mark CQs that are for a call area you are not belonging to, e.g. CQ DX from your own continent, CQ to different continents than yours and CQ USA if you are not in the US. The CQs will then be marked with a line strikethrough.
It is also possible to specify other call areas that should be be marked
The macros are used to set the free text message in WSJT-X. Data from the table columns can be inserted by prepending the column name with a %-sign. Note that the name is case sensitive. E.g. %Call, %Name etc.
